Red E Extended Wear Seed Boot
Seed boots help ensure proper seed placement and depth. They scrape dirt and mud off of the cutting disc and shape the seed furrow, providing a consistent profile for the seed to rest in. Constant soil contact can gradually wear away the seed boot, diminishing seed placement and dramatically reducing yields.
This is Red E’s go-to, premier seed boot solution for John Deere disc drills! Our improved seed boot design combines high-wear materials and durability to help minimize downtime.

- For use on John Deere 60, 90, N, and Pro Series Air Drills
- Update John Deere 60 series drills when also replacing with 90 series seed tubes
- Replaces John Deere part numbers: N283730, N283731, N284044, N274045, N284024 & N284025
- Also replaces the Pro Series A109343, A109344 style seed boot (Note: Minor grinding is recommended when installing on Pro Series Row Units)
