This 19-inch Horsch Avatar cutting disc is designed to slice through residue and open a clean seed trench, working in conjunction with the scraper and gauge wheel to ensure accurate seed placement. A sharp, properly profiled disc is critical for maintaining seed-to-soil contact, reducing residue hair-pinning, and minimizing premature wear on adjacent components.

Red E’s extended-wear Forges de Niaux 200 replacement disc delivers long-lasting sharpness and consistent performance in demanding field conditions, helping improve emergence and reduce maintenance costs.  The research and development efforts implemented in metallurgy and heat treatment have allowed for increased hardness (up to 58 HRC) for a longer lifespan and increased flexibility to resist shock loads.
