Due to our continued growth and success, we are searching for a skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team. 

To deliver on our promise to our customers, we count on exceptionally talented, bright, and committed people. We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our team and manage operations within our warehouse. This professional multitasker will manage and oversee the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities within the warehouse, ensuring quality standards are met at every turn. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail oriented, and able to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time. You must achieve inventory accuracy, and coordinate orders, ultimately overseeing the fulfillment of thousands of product orders every year. 

In this role, you will have the chance to work with a team of talented engineers and business professionals who are focused on meeting the needs of farmers by providing High Quality Products and Services. Red E operates with Integrity, Timeliness, and Diligence, solving a wide variety of engineering and equipment challenges in product development, manufacturing, and sales environment. This opportunity will allow you to grow in your career and expertise as you work in a collaborative team environment, learn and develop new skills, and assist with a variety of tasks and projects. 

Senior Project Engineer Responsibilities: 

• Create 3D models and engineering drawings of parts and assemblies 

• Manage projects to ensure deadlines are met 

• Create design documentation and product manuals 

• Perform and interpret FEA and other various studies 

• Document and communicate project information 

• Use good problem-solving skills even when something isn't clearly defined or known 

• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales teams 

• Effectively communicate with suppliers, customers, and team members 

• Assist with prototype or production builds 

• Prepare cost analyses and project schedules 

• Mentor and delegate work to interns 

Senior Project Engineer additional possibilities: 

• Assisting with product installs at customer job sites 

• Assembly and light fabrication  

Senior Project Engineer Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Ag Engineering, or related field 

• 5+ years’ experience in mechanical design 

• Ability to research and develop new product ideas and innovations 

• In-depth knowledge of 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) 

• Able to effectively work in a team and with diverse customers to meet their project needs 

• Strong problem solving and communication skills 

• Good knowledge of metal fabrication processes 

• Ability to construct prototypes and fabricate new and existing products a plus 

• Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively 

• Ability to work independently/self-directed and as a member of a team 

• Strong work ethic, integrity, and initiative 

• Mechanical, Construction, or Farm industry experience/background 

• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective time management skills

• $65k- $85k/Year depending on experience

This role will be responsible for a wide variety of job functions with responsibilities stretching into Customer Sales and Support. Territory Manager-Canadian Market Responsibilities:

• Assist in establishing new business opportunities
• Spearhead sales strategies, cultivates customer relationships, and drives revenue growth within the Canadian Market
• Disseminate qualified prospects to the sales team
• Assist with planning the marketing focus, executing the marketing strategy, and documenting results
• Assist with maintaining records of all interactions with qualified prospects and communicating to sales team
• Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales team
• Assist engineers in design, prototyping, assembly, and fabrication of new and existing products

Territory Manager-Canada Qualifications:

• Effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively communicate information about the company in a positive manner to prospective clients
• Ability to build strong, influential relationships, maintain confidentiality, and exhibit professional composure

• Valid driver's license and clear driving record
• Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, work hard, and handle uncertainty
• Physically strong, agile and dexterous, ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
• Ability to travel 60% of the time

Who We're Looking For:

You will be working with a team of talented business professionals focused on meeting the needs of customers to solve a wide variety of engineering and equipment needs. Service Tech/Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Dis-assemble and Re-assemble air seeding equipment to repair, test operation, and make adjustments as necessary
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools, cutting tools, etc
• Drive pickups to haul tools and parts for on-site repair of equipment
• Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of work environment
• Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise
• Determine correct hand tools, power tools, and processes to best complete mechanical tasks

Service Tech/Mechanic Qualifications:

• Experience and technical knowledge of equipment
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, work hard, and handle uncertainty
• Attention to detail and Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Skilled with mechanics and have a tenacity to overcome challenges to get the job done
• Physically strong, agile and dexterous, ability to lift at least 40 lbs
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Farming background and/or experience in farming industry a plus
• Ability to travel

Compensation:

• $50,000 - $90,000 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 75% (Required)
