Our Story

Red E was founded in 2012 with a simple mission: help farmers get more life, performance, and reliability out of the equipment they already own.

That mission traces back much further. Growing up on their grandpa’s farm, Matt and Jesse Faul learned early lessons about resourcefulness. Their grandpa used to say:

“I can’t afford a new machine, so let’s keep what we have running in the best condition possible.”

That mindset stuck.

After graduating from North Dakota State University with mechanical engineering degrees, the brothers went on to work for agricultural manufacturers and engineering firms Amity Technology and John Deere. Along the way they saw a consistent problem: farmers were often forced to replace expensive equipment when better engineering solutions could extend its life and improve its performance.

In 2012, Matt founded Red E as an engineering services company to solve complex design and manufacturing problems. In 2015, Jesse joined as a partner. Together they combined engineering expertise with a deep understanding of agriculture to develop practical solutions for farmers.

What started as a small engineering firm quickly evolved into something bigger: a company dedicated to designing high-performance aftermarket solutions for air seeders, planters, and other agricultural equipment.

Today, Red E serves farmers across North America and around the world with engineering, parts, and full-service rebuild solutions designed to help them keep their equipment running better than new.
