Its patented undercut, angled‑disc design creates a low‑disturbance seed trench that improves soil‑to‑seed contact, minimizes straw pinning, and maintains moisture for consistent seed placement. Low Soil Disturbance, Superior Seed Placement, Virtually No Straw Pinning

The angled offset discs provide a low disturbance seed trench where the soil is lifted on an angle with the top disc, with the seed being placed under the flap, and the soil gently falling back over itself, leaving a very low disturbed seedbed before it is packed by the packer wheel. The angled seed trench prevents seed bouncing and keeps the moisture in the seedbed. Model 9621 offers the best soil to seed contact than any other disc opener on the market!
